Benton County, OR 

I'm hearing that this county has stopped issuing marriage licenses, to ALL couples, until the courts have resolved the gay marriage dispute. That's one way to deal with the issue.

Their website makes no mention of this (I have been hearing it on the radio), it only says they will start issuing same-sex marriages tomorrow (3/24/04).
