Sad Existence

According to A CNN article, 80% of people do not like their job and want to change jobs/careers. 80%! A ridiculously high percentage. Imagine, as you surely can since statistically speaking the chances are that if you are reading this you probably don't like your job, 8 out of 10 people wanting out of their job. Why would so many people stay in a job they don't like? For those with dependants, it's easier to understand-there is not much choice since someone is depending on you for survival. For single people? What a waste of life! That is when you should be out exploring, trying to find your niche, find what it is you'd like to be doing.

I think it's time people need to realize what is important-maintaining a highly materialistic lifestyle that necessitates a hig paying job with long working hours, or a simpler and happier lifestyle for which a lower paying job with shorter hours would suffice.

It's all a choice: choose to suffer and be miserable for most of your waking life, or be happy.
