More on the Feith memo
What is the real issue behind this memo? Feith, who put together a Department of Defense team to research the ties between Iraq and al Qaida, has put together this memo that if true, shows many many oversights by the CIA and the other intelligence agencies. This memo may just have re-opened recently scarred over wounds between the agencies. Maybe what is at issue is the rivalry or scorn these agencies have for each other? I am not privy to the intimacies of the relationships between these agencies, but as long as this stuff is figured out, does it matter who rooted it out?
